This is a great site that contains thousands of tools that can be used to help create and/or enhance lesson plans, study tools, and presentations to assist teachers in providing instruction to students and provides students with a variety of resources that be used to enhance their assignments and a variety of projects. Some examples of such uses are: using the clip art to create puzzles or coloring books, using photographs to enhance PowerPoint presentations or even make a movie, using the VR’s, Movies, Audio to enhance lesson plans and provide alternative methods of lecture.

Florida Standards

This site has some good potential to provide a set of standards that should ultimately be met. Unfortunately many of the links are broken, making navigation difficult in many cases. The potential for this site is primarily in the assistance that it could provide teachers with creating and designing lesson plans that will meet state education standards.

The Internet: Ideas, Activities, and Resources

This is probably one of the most important sites listed on the http://fcit.usf.edu/ website. It is basically an online text on internet basics, safety on the internet, and how to integrate the internet and its resources into lesson plans. It is in a text book format, broken down into chapters, and contains end of chapter questions and student activities. This site can be used by new teachers that know how to use the internet but are unsure how to integrate it into their lesson plans or by established teachers that are new to using computers and the internet in their classroom.
